Kim Kelly is coming to Matewan!

Kim Kelly is an independent journalist, author, and organizer. She has been a regular labor columnist for Teen Vogue since 2018, and her writing on labor, class, politics, and culture has appeared in The New Republic, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and more. Sponsored by the West Virginia Mine Wars Museum, UMWA District 17, and UMWA Local 1440, Kim Kelly is coming to Matewan! ✨

On October 16th at 6:30 pm, the Mine Wars Museum is hosting a book reading with Kim at UMWA Local 1440 (184 Mate Street), in which Kim will do book signings, answer questions, and read an excerpt from her book Fight Like Hell: The Untold History of American Labor.
